At XRJV we do training a little differently. We have courses which meet all the required certifications, with the added bonus of a fun twist, training you with the use of Virtual Reality (VR) technology. Step into the virtual world as we give you an experience closer to the real thing and in more depth than any other course out there provide.

Fire Safety and Fire Extinguisher Training Course (VR)
Aim:
Our Fire Safety training course will ensure that all of your employees are suitably trained in the safety aspects of being in a situation with fire and will ensure the correct use of fire extinguishers.
Course Description:
This training course includes both a theory and a practical component to ensure that your employees can safely handle any workplace fire emergency.

Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - HLTAID001 (Non-VR)
Aim:
We will provide you with the necessary skills to provide the primary care to an unconscious casualty in an emergency situation until the arrival of professional help. CPR courses give you hands-on experience, using the best CPR manikins provided by our highly experienced, accredited trainer.
Course Description:
Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation is a vital skill that can save the life of a casualty when they have stopped breathing. This course focuses on practising this skill on our special CPR manikins (adults, junior and baby manikins).

Prerequisites / Entry Requirements:
The minimum age for participants is 14 years.
Certificate Validity:
The Nationally Recognised Provider CPR certificate is valid for a period of 12 months (these are recommendations from the Australian Resuscitation Council).
Accreditation:
First Aid Action is a registered training organisation (RTO), recognised within the VET quality framework. This course is designed to meet the requirements of nationally recognised competency standards.
Perform Rescue From A Live LV Panel - UETTDRRF06B (Non-VR)
Aim:
We will provide you with the knowledge and practical skills to perform a safe rescue of a casualty who has received an electric shock or other injuries while working on low voltage conductors or equipment.
Course Description:
This unit covers the skills and knowledge required to rescue a person with low voltage electrical conductors and equipment. It is a requirement of the ‘Electrical Safety Regulation 2002 ’, contained within the ‘Queensland Electrical Safety Act 2002 ’ that “An employer must ensure workers who are required to perform or help in performing, electrical work are competent in rescue and resuscitation in accordance with recognised practices in the electricity industry”.

Accreditation:
First Aid Action is a Registered Training Organisation and is able to issue a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment in Provide CPR and Course in Low Voltage Electrical Work Rescue.
